In the past year, I have really dived into how to become a better leader. To be honest, I’m not a huge reader, and I never have been for some reason. Once I realized I was behind the eight ball regarding my knowledge of leadership and serving my company, I had to start reading. I had to start watching videos that pertained to leadership. It was paramount that I spent the time listening to podcasts and having meetings with experienced leaders in business. As I started to dive into this subject more, I found myself immersed in the amount of knowledge that I was picking up. The other exciting part of this journey has been putting what you learn immediately into your daily habits. It’s one thing to learn something new, but if you don’t put it into practice quickly, it won’t be utilized, in my opinion, just like learning how to ride a bike or install a full bumper wrap. If you don’t work on what you just learned to sharpen your blade, the skill you just acquired will go away.
