May marked Skin Cancer Awareness Month, and Avery Dennison is helping take the message on the road. The company is sponsoring The Skin Cancer Foundation’s mobile education and screening program, Destination Healthy Skin, providing all the printed graphics and window film for the RV that will bring free skin cancer screenings to communities across the country.
The Foundation’s mobile unit is equipped with private exam rooms, giving volunteer dermatologists space to perform free, full-body screenings, offer early detection and prevention tips, and distribute free sunscreen. Over the next six months, the 38-foot RV will travel about 10,000 miles to more than 30 cities, hosting Destination Healthy Skin events along the way.
The RV stands out with its blue-green ombre wrap printed on Avery Dennison films, plus UV-protective window tints — all installed by Chicago Wrap, a wide-format print production and commercial wrap shop in Aurora, IL. The window tint films block up to 99% of UV rays and carry The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Seal of Recommendation.
